Taiwanese multinational hardware and electronics corporation Acer has launched its new convertible laptop called Acer Spin 7 in India. Convertible because it can be used as a laptop as well as a tablet and its display can be rotated up to 360 degrees in any direction. Not only this, but the device is also promoted as the world’s thinnest convertible notebook.
The most note-worthy point about the all-aluminium unibody Acer Spin 7 is that it weighs just weighs 1.2kg and it measures just 10.98mm thick. The Acer Spin 7 comes with a 14-inch Full HD (1920×1080) IPS touchscreen display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The company claims that the display is powered by Acer’s Color Intelligence software that dynamically adjusts gamma and saturation in real-time, optimizing screen color and brightness without stressing the processor. A feature called “BlueLightShield” is also added tothe laptop to protect your eyes from harmful screen emissions.
It is powered by the latest Windows 10 Pro and also features Intel’s Core i7 processor with 8GB RAM and a 256GB SATA III SSD drive. The notebook comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, two USB Type-C ports, a back-lit keyboard, an HD camera, a wide glass touchpad, a memory card reader and fast wireless Wi-Fi. 802.11ac connectivity. It runs on a 4-cell 2770mAh battery which runs the device for eight hours.

Priced at Rs 1,09,000, the Spin 7 will be made available across key retail stores in India.
