Earlier this year, HP had launched the world's thinnest laptop HP Spectre. Recently, Acer announced Acer Swift 7 at the IFA in August. While the HP Spectre was 10.4mm thick, the Acer Swift 7 is 9.98mm which indeed makes it the world's thinnest laptop.
The Acer Swift 7 features an all-metal aluminium uni-body design and weighs just 1.1kg. It sports a 13.3-inch Full HD with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a 16:9 IPS display. It comes a micro-bezel and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. It is powered by seventh-gen 1.2GHz Intel Core i5-7Y54 processor with Intel HD Graphics 615, 8 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 256GB SSD. It runs on Windows 10.
It has WiFI 2×2 802.11ac with MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 4.o, 3.5mm audio jack combo, Dolby Audio Premium and Acer TrueHarmony, two USB Type-C 3.1 (Gen 1) ports on-board, along with an HDR-enabled webcam. It has a 4-cell 2770mAh battery which the company claims to run for upto 9 hours.
The Acer Swift 7 comes in a classy black and gold color and is priced at Rs. 99,999. It will will be available from 18th November at exclusive Acer stores and other multi brand outlets. It can also be purchased online exclusively on Flipkart.
