China's largest e-commerce site, Alibaba is looking out for a space in India's tech capital Bengaluru.
The Chinese heavyweight is looking to employ around 150-200 people initially and is looking for an office space of 20,000 sq ft. The company is planning to start operations in India by this year-end or early next year.
Recently, Rakuten, an e-commerce company from Japan referred to as Japan's Alibaba -also opened an office in Bengaluru as part of its India entry plan.
Co-incidently, Amazon as well as Flipkart too have their base in Bengaluru. Looks like the 2 e-commerce giants are going to face tough competition.
