During the launch of the Apple iPhone 7, Apple announced that it had decided to ditch the headphone jack in order to make way for a new revolution of wireless earphones namely the Apple AirPods.
Although the AirPods were announced during the launch of the iPhone 7 smartphones, their shipping had been delayed for some reason. However, there were reports that the availability of AirPods was delayed as the company was experiencing problems in getting the audio from both the earpieces at the same time.
According to Fortune, "technology problems with how the earpieces receive wireless signals via Bluetooth are causing delay."
Now, after much waiting the company has announced that the Apple AirPods are finally hitting the shelves.
You can buy those at the company's online shops around the world, though they will ship in one to four weeks. The AirPods will be arriving at Apple Stores, Apple Authorised Resellers and select carriers next week.
