Apple analyst Ming-Chi-Kuo of KGI Security recently informed that Apple may be unveiling 3 iPad models in the year 2017. The 3 models would come in 3 different screen sizes - 12.9-inch, 10.5-inch and 9.7-inch variants. While the 12.9-inch and the 10.5-inch iPad models will run on A10X SoC made by TSMC using 10nm process, the smaller 9.7-inch variant will be powered by TSMC's A9X processor.
However, there will be no major design change in the 3 variants. But in 2018, the American giant is planning to unveil a new iPad tablet with flexible Amoled displays which would bring in an enhanced user interface complementing the hardware.
Additionally, Apple is planning to launch the new iPhone model next year - iPhone 8 which as per reports will come with an OLED (organic light-emitting diode) edgeless display. Also, there will no physical home button/ fingerprint sensor. it will be present in the display-screen itself.
This September, Apple is planning to come out with its new flagship iPhone 7 Pro which is rumoured to feature a dual-camera as well as wireless charging via smart connector similar to the new iPad Pro.
