In June this year, there were reports of BlackBerry unveiling the last three of its smartphones codenamed “Neon”, “Argon”, and “Mercury” The former two handsets have out for sale namely as DTEK50 and DTEK60 respectively. The Mercury hasn't been much in news though. However, leaked images of "Mercury" aka DTEK70 are now making rounds.
The leaked images of the DTEK70 shows that the device is very similar to the recently launched BlackBerry Passport. The DTEK70 will feature a physical QWERTY keyboard unlike the DTEK50 and DTEK60. Looks like it will also feature the candybar design.
As far as the specs, it has been speculated that the DTEK70 will feature a curved display of 4.5-inch with a Snapdragon 821 SoC chipset and 3GB of RAM. It will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The fingerprint sensor will be integrated into the keyboard’s space bar button.
For more updates on the device, we will have to wait for the CES 2017 when TCL, who will be making BlackBerry’s handsets from now on, is expected to unveil the newer BlackBerry devices.
