The launch of the New Apple Macbook Pro had stirred a lot of excitement among users because of its new features and innovations - a Touch-bar, a touchscreen panel that changes based on the app you're using, the high-pixel-count retina display, a thin design and four Thunderbolt/USB-C ports.
But unfortunately, it does not have a single traditional, USB 3.0 port which means you cannot charge your iPhone 7 or iPhone 6 or 5 with the new Macbook Pro. Well, you can. But that would cost you an extra $25 additional to the $1,499 you pay to buy the base model of the Apple Macbook Pro. Or, you can buy a USB-C to Lightning cable separately as it is not included with the new laptop or iPhone.
Apple could rectify this by including a USB-C to USB 3.0 adapter in the box of each iPhone, just as it includes the 3.5mm headphone jack adapter or the company could include the adapter in the box of the new Macbook Pro. This way, all buyers could use all their current peripherals and devices that make use of the plug.
However, up until now, no such things are included in the Macbook Pro other than a charging cord and power brick, to charge the computer.
