Back in July, Xiaomi had unveiled its first high-end laptop - the Mi Notebook Air. Now again, the Chinese tech giant is ready to reveal a new version of this device. The successor will be unveiled in a special event planned for the purpose, which will take place on Friday, December 23.
Although not much is known about the device, a teaser image has surfaced in China, and it shows us a very small part of the upcoming laptop. The overall design seems to be the same but what catches the attention is the logo showing a 4G signal strength indicator in the bottom right hand corner of the image.
Although it confirms that the new Mi Notebook Air will come with built-in mobile data connectivity, supporting 4G LTE networks, no details about which bands will be supported have been leaked.
So it is possible that the successor could be just a 4G-enhanced variation of the already available Mi Notebook Air which was just WiFi enhanced. other than this, the other specs would probably be the same. If there have been any tweaks done internally, there is no news or leaks about it. If no leaks are seen within the next couple of days, we will get the full details about the laptop on Friday, December 23 following the launch event of the same.
